Empowering Students

To graduate with options in a diverse and changing world of work.

Welcome to Career Education in School District 54 – Bulkley Valley.

Career Education is focused on the strategic development and delivery of comprehensive career-oriented programs designed to prepare students for their professional futures. We recognize the importance of early career planning and are committed to providing a framework of support to assist students in navigating their career pathways.

A key component of our approach is the integration of hands-on learning experiences, starting at the elementary level. We believe that early exposure to practical, real-world activities is crucial in fostering an understanding of various career possibilities. In addition to the Career Education and ADST curriculum delivered by teachers, the School District supports hands-on, project-based learning for younger students, offering opportunities to engage with tools and various materials to foster early exploration and skill development. These activities are designed to spark curiosity, build foundational skills, and provide a tangible connection to different careers.
