The Bulkley Valley School District utilizes an automated student attendance management system called SafeArrival, offered through SchoolMessenger®, the company that hosts our parent notification system.

With SafeArrival, you can report your child’s absence in advance using any of these 3 convenient methods:

SchoolMessenger App

Using your mobile device, download and install the SM Home app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
The first time you use the app, select Sign Up to create your account. Please use the email your child’s school has for you.
Select Attendance then Report an Absence.

SchoolMessenger Website

Use SafeArrival on the SchooMessenger website by going to the Login page.
The first time you use the website, select Sign Up to create your account. Please use the email address that your child’s school has for you.
Select Attendance then Report an Absence.

SchoolMessenger Home Guide

Toll-Free Number

Call 1-833-829-5808 to report an absence using the automated phone system. You are not required to create a SchoolMessenger account if using the toll-free number to report your child’s absence.

Please be sure to report your child’s absence before 9:20am daily to avoid getting an absence notification that day.
These options are available 24 hours/day, 7 days a week. Future absences can be reported at any time.
Parents also have the option to Opt-In for SMS communication at any time. Please text Y to 978338.
